Bhakti is the only ultimate seva of bhagwan Shri Krishna by which we can attain him. Bhakti needs special guidance and supervision by a learned and experienced guru.
Bhakti also is a kind of penance. It involves immense dedication and devotion towards paramatma and tyaga of nearly all sorts. Proper guidance by the guru will help the sadhaka to achieve higher levels of tyaga.
